Reef was born and raised in Kibbutz Ramat David, the son of Avi and Sigal and brother to Zoe. He was smiling, mischievous, and a lover of people—a loyal friend who knew not only how to look at people but to truly see them. He loved animals, hiking, the sea, natural springs, Tel Aviv, and traveling abroad.
He began his journey at Magen David Adom as a youth volunteer in the Gilboa Region and remained active until his enlistment in the IDF. His friends remembered a young man with a great zest for life and a constant desire to improve and help.
Reef used to tell those around him: “Enjoy life as much as possible and do not rest.”
He fell on April 6, 2024, in battle in the southern Gaza Strip while serving as a soldier in training at the Commando School.
He was laid to rest at the Gvat Cemetery. Reef is survived by his parents and sister.
A Magen David Adom ambulance bearing his name was dedicated in his memory, thus continuing his life-saving mission.
May his memory be a blessing.
